2tspbaking powder

1tspsalt

5tbspbutter

1 1/4cupswarm water
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add butter or oil. Stir in the butter softened or chopped into small cubes. Add the warm water until the dough is soft and not sticky. Knead the dough for a couple of minutes and pull off about 12 little balls. Let them set for 10 minutes or more. Dust each ball with a little flour and flatten with your hands or a rolling pin, almost as thin as possible.Heat a skillet, frying pan or griddle to medium heat. Heat each side of each tortilla for a few seconds, with brown spots on each side. Place the cooked tortillas on a paper towel or tortilla warmer.
