Cinnamon French Toast Recipe

  • 2
    cups
    skim milk
  • 1
    pinch
    confectioners\\' sugar and fruit
  • 1
    pinch
    lemon juice
  • 1
    pinch
    syrup
  • 8
    slices of wheat bread
  • 4
    egg whites, lightly beaten
  • 1
    tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2
    tsp
    cinnamon
Instructions
In a shallow mixing bowl, blend the milk, cinnamon and vanilla with a fork until foamy. Gradually add the egg whites. Pour into a large baking dish and lay the bread in the dish. Soak for 1 to 2 minutes. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. To make sure it is hot enough, sprinkle some drops of water in the pan; they should evaporate immediately. Using a spatula, place the bread in the pan. fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Serve immediately with syrup and toppings.
